About Our School

Mrs. Cheryl Siegfried - Founder, Owner, Teacher

Founder of Seneca School of Performing Arts and Seneca School of Balle, Cheryl’s experience in the Arts began at Syracuse University where she held a dual major in piano and voice, while continuing her ballet training at Syracuse Ballet Theatre. After moving to New York City, she trained in ballet with American Ballet Theatre (ABT), Nicolai School of Ballet, and the Carnegie School of Ballet at Carnegie Hall. She danced at Radio City Music Hall for 2 seasons before touring the country with several Broadway based shows. In 1979 she married and is blessed with 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Cheryl and her husband have been in full time music and dance ministry for the past 36 years and are very excited to see what the Lord will do this year at Seneca School of Performing Arts!

Miss Hannah Thompson, Ballet Instructor

We want to welcome Hannah to our teaching staff!

Hannah has danced Classical Ballet and Modern Dance for 16 years with Seneca School of Performing Arts and Leap of Faith Studios.  She has 3 years of Modern Dance training and many years of Classical Ballet and Pointe work.  Hannah has had experience running her own Ballet School, teaching children from ages 5-10, along with teaching dance camps at LeTourneau Christian Center.  She has also performed in many Ballet productions with Seneca School of Performing Arts, and has traveled with the SSPA Company as a Company Dancer!

We are so thankful for her gift of dance and love of teaching!  Hannah will be teaching our Ballet 1, 2 and 3 Classes this year.  Mrs. Siegfried will be teaching the Intermediate/Advanced Classes.  Our Ballet Classes are offered on Thursdays, and if you would like to register ages 4- adult, simply scroll down to the “Register Now!” button!  You can register and pay online!

The Studio

The School focuses on training young dancers, vocalists, musicians, and actors, in excellence to use their gifts and talents to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. We offer classes in Ballet and Music Theatre as well as private lessons in Piano and Voice.

Because of the annual student participation in the productions, Seneca School of Performing Arts offer the young performing artists a unique opportunity to grow, study, and perform in a healthy, Christ-centered enviornment. The director and the teachers of the school have been called to develop each student to the best of their potential in their individual talents.

Registration is now through September 1st 2023.
